Steve Grant joined Career 1 Source in 2010, opening a successful consulting practice focused on the financial services industry. Steve spent 7 years of his career working in a variety of human resource roles with a large regional Midwest bank with over 3500 employees, much of that focused on recruitment and diversity training. Steve also spent 10 years in recruitment and sales with a direct selling company headquartered in Kansas City, MO. Steve added to the breadth of his experience by spending 2 years in banking working directly with department heads in commercial banking, finance, and asset management concerning profitability, career planning, leadership styles, employee relations and retention, compensation, training, and recruitment strategy.  His overall 18 years of human resource experience, working on the corporate side, gives him a unique perspective working directly with hiring managers, candidates seeking career growth, and an in-depth understanding of return on investment.

Steve has a knack for asking great questions, and listening to business expectations set by leadership. He knows the importance of the fit coming from both sides, corporate and candidate.  Steve has conducted successful searches throughout the country, recruiting positions in commercial sales, treasury management, institutional investments, mutual funds, trust and wealth management, brokerage, compliance/audit/accounting, IT, and many other sales and operational related opportunities.
